Abigail is a multi-racial Latine/Yaqui director, producer and arts administrator. She has long been fascinated by the tradition of storytelling and the power that art has to disrupt systems and provoke change. She has a passion for new work and loves being a part of the collaborative process of bringing new plays, musicals, and film to life. She finds joy in creating intersectional opportunities to usher in a new age in the American Theatre that is truly reflective of the people who built this country and make it what it is today. A true Jill-of-all-trades, she is able to pull from her experience in other skills and art forms including: costume design, scenic painting, dramaturgy, acting, education, and administration to create a well rounded and holistic approach to her productions that gives her work a mystical yet grounded quality. Being a photographer and visual artist has also given her a keen eye for detail and aesthetic. She is currently on staff at Musical Theatre Factory as the Development Coordinator and The People's Improv Theatre (The PIT) . She received her B.A. in Directing and Arts Management from Marymount Manhattan College. Abigail is a proud Associate Member of SDC. Lots of love to her family- te amo, Abuelo. Gracias por todo.
